Kachin Fish Curry
Do you want to try spicy and savoury taste of fish dish in traditional Kachin style? Let me introduce you Kachin-style fish dish. This is not so oily and judged quite tasty. So you should try it.
Ingerdients (A)
– 300g fish (cut into 2cm size and marinate with 2 table spoon cooking oil, a little bit of salt and tumeric powder and then set it
aside.
Ingredients (B)
– 10 sprigs coriander leaves (finelychopped) – 20 Indian basil (finely chopped and left half to decorate)
– 10 sprigs laksa leaves (finely chopped)
– one lime juice (to decorate)
Ingredients (C)(to pound all together)
– 3 cloves garlic
– 10 fresh chilli
– 1 cm ginger
Preparation
put ingredients B and C into A and marinate thoroughly. Add some water almost to cover the fish. Place on the fire and cook until the water nearly dries out. If you would like to serve with gravy you can switch off the fire before the water dry. And then decorate with lime juice and basil.
