First Started
It started out on June 2, 2014 _ but not in full operation. On Jaunary 2, 2015, we started the operation online. The aim is to do away with difficulties of shoppers such as expatriates, workers with little time for shopping, those who find it difficult to carry their purchases down the stairs, because, you know, not all shops have elevators. It is also targetted at helping those busy housewives with children to take care of at home. For such busy women we have products for children which are available on our Site. The site is more convenient for foreigners, who are already familiar with online shopping.
Product available
There are five categories: food and drinks; healthcare and beauty; household goods; and products for children. The food and drinks category includes rice, edible oil, salt, chillie, etc. besides dry noodle, eggs and breakfast serials. We have a plan to add bread to the list, We have a fair variety of dry foods, but no meat, fish and vegetables.
Drinks include purified water, milk, beer, etc. Healthcare and beauty includes shampoo, body soap, toothpaste, tooth brush, etc. Household goods include detergents, cleansing liquids for floor and toilet, tissue, kitchen roll, shoe-shining stuff, mosquito coil. Promotion and Marketing
For markting we use facebook mainly. We have plans for the use of social media. But no billboard as yet. For the moment we already have got a social media team.
Stock Management
Products we deliver are safe to use in terms of expiry and packaging . We have a warehouse of our own, We only deliver those products we already have in stock, not those things from somewhere else. This eliminates the need for customers to keep waiting until delivery is ready. If we’ve run out of stock we’ll say ‘out of stock’ on the website.
Customers
Most of the customers are foreigners. They also include mothers. Once they buy, they’ll do so every week. Things They buy are usually fairly heavy, difficult for them to carry_things like purified water bottles, large bundles of diapers, etc.
