On 9-5-2016 Coca Cola launched WASH project to aid 12,500 local people living around its plant in Hmawbi. Aimed at enhancing their socio-economic life, the project is part of conservation of global water resource being carried out here with Coca Cola foundation aid of USD 150,000. On the occasion Mr Sandy Chapman of Coca Cola Myanmar explained that they were proud working together with Pact in matters of safe water for the public, personal hygiene, and sewerage systems.
