Sule Shangri-La, Yangon launches the Designers’ High Tea Series, an afternoon fashion show and tea service, at the hotel’s iconic Peacock Lounge every first and third Saturday of the month, beginning 2 September 2017.

Headlining the series are two of Yangon’s most popular fashion designers, Mogok Pauk Pauk (every first Saturaday) and Charlotte Barjou (every third Saturaday).

Mogok Pauk Pauk will present her Fairy Godmother (FGM) collection, a reasonably priced acheik longyi line. Known for her feminine flair, Charlotte Barjou, a French designer, has strived to meld her fashion sensibilities with the traditional and conservative preference of locals.

Shows are scheduled until March 2018, skipping the month of December. Tickets to the series are at US$15 ett per show and includes high tea. Afternoon tea begins at 2 p.m, while the fashion shows start at 3:30 p.m.

The Designers’ High Tea Series counts as its main supporters Carrie Models, Casey and Randy Style Factory and Rich Gems. Brain Jeremiah is the creative director for all the shows.
