Mahlzeit is a cozy place where authentic German cuisine and beverages are served by passionate staff. The restaurant is the only German restaurant in Myanmar. The decor and lighting inside the restaurant also will give you a sense of comfort as soon as you enter the room. The chefs at the back end were trained intensely by the experienced German chef.

Basically, Mahlzeit is open for all who would like to try authentic German food. There also a variety of vegetables dishes available at the restaurant. And above all Mahlzeit accommodate people from Switzerland, Australia, Denmark, and Sweden because the food available here is very similar to what they eat at home. As there’re no dedicated restaurants for such countries, for them Mahlzeit is the best place which offers their native cravings.

Opening hours
The restaurant opening hours are from 11 am to 10 pm.

Menu & Prices
Offering a variety of regional German dishes. The Pork knuckles is a classic dish which was very popular from the start, and customers love it. Other famous dishes are the Feast Platter which is a combination of various kind of sausages and the Mahlzeit Doner (Doner Kebabs from Germany). The Suckling Pig dish is also very popular but needs to be reserved in advance. German style as salmon, herrings, cot are also available. We have a good selection of fish menus, pork and vegetable alternatives. The menus are updated twice a year.

Business lunch is available and changes weekly, cocktails, a huge variety of alcoholic drinks and German beers are available. The beer is produced locally by using German Technology. All the menu items are starting from 4000 kyats to 35,000 kyats.

Mahlzeit Cafe
The Cafe is opened 7:30 am in the morning and close at 6 pm. There are choices of coffee, tea, smoothies, drinks and also cake, breakfast items and fresh bread of various kinds are available. A board range of bread and cake and desserts are available with very reasonable prices.
