Sule Shangri-La celebrates Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival

On August 9, 2017, Sule Shangri-La, Yangon held a private mooncake tasting for “Mid-Autumn Festival” at Summer Palace Restaurant. At the event, a delectable variety of mooncake flavors handmade by Chinese Executive Chef Pang Siu Keung were introduced to invited guests and media.

Various flavors of mooncakes available are Lotus, Red Bean, Yellow Bean, Durian, Pandan, Custard, Taro and Assorted Flavors, with or without salted egg yolk.  “Snow Mooncake”, which is a non-baked mooncake with a soft and chewy texture, is this year’s a new mooncake variety with different flavors of Mango, Strawberry, Black Sesame, Green Tea and Coffee. Those flavors of Snow mooncakes are also available with or without salted egg yolk.

The Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival is being celebrated from August 10th to October 4th, at Sule Shangri-La. During the festival various promotions will be offered such as early bird discount of 25% for the purchase of minimum ten boxes from 10- 25 August; getting one box free for the purchase of ten boxes from August 26th to October 4; getting 15% and 20% discounts for bulk purchase of 50-100 boxes and 100-200 boxes respectively.
