Yoma Strategic in top 5% of SGX-listed Companies for Governance & Transparency
Yoma Strategic was ranked 26th in the 2014 Corporate Governance & Transparency Index out of 644 SGX-listed companies; An improvement over its 74th ranking in 2013
Singapore, 30 July 2014 – Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd. ( “Yoma Strategic” or collectively with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) has achieved another milestone in governance and transparency. The Group was ranked in the top 5% of SGX-listed companies in the 2014 Governance & Transparency Index (“GTI™”) and is placed 26 out of the 644 SGX-listed companies that were evaluated. It was ranked 74 in 2013 and 177 in 2012.
Commenting on the achievement, Andrew Rickards, CEO of Yoma Strategic said, “It is heart-warming to know that we made a big jump in our ranking and it is a recognition of the efforts put in to constantly improve our corporate governance and transparency. Our improvement in the GTI ranking is a great encouragement to the management and staff as we grow.
