UBER coming to Yangon

A ceremony marking the introduction Uber taxi service in Myanmar was held at Yangon Gallery on May 11, 2017. Uber provides taxi service 450 cities of 76 countries. Myanmar is the 77 ^thcountry to use this service. Currently there are already over one hundred taxies running in the city in sync with Uber.

On the occasion opening speeches were delivered by Yangon. Region Premier U Phyo Min Thein and American Ambassador Mr Scot Marciel.
