When first starten; its aim
TAKUMI-YA, “the best service provider” was first opened 30 years ago in Yokohama, Japan. There are already about 40 outlets now. In Myanmar it was first opened in April, 2015, with the chief aim of providing Myanmar people with the real taste of Japanese grilled food as well as Sha Bu Sha Bu, the Japanese hotpot.

Promotion and discount
There is a 20 percent discount for Ayer Royal Bank card. There is also a payment facility by Visa and Master Cards. The shop also has a Happy Hour promotion programme with a ‘Buy one, Get one’ Free offer.

Service
Beef is imported from Japan. The beef is graded by beef marbling system as A5, A4, A3, etc. All the other ingredients are also from Japan. There are tasty dishes made with over 50 percent of the whole beef. Pork, chicken food and seafood are also available. About 30 people is enough for partying arrangement. French, Italian and other wines are available, ranging in price from USD 20 to 800. You can also get various brands of liquor, as well as solf drinks. There is a sufficient parking space. WiFi is available free.

Price
The price range is from 8 dollars to 20 dollars, depending on room capacity: 10 dollars for a four-person room; 20 for a 10-person room; and 30 for a Japanese – style room.

Ingredients
They are all from Japan. Those for seafoods are from the Myanmar local market.

Hygiene
Since the job involves handling raw beef, the shop takes care of food hygiene in line with the Five Star Hotel Standards.

There are plans to introduce new items on the name. It is currently trying its best to maintain the existing quality. There is also a sale plan.
