The SCG’s Sharing a Brighter Vision program, its second anniversary deed, means donation of a 50,000 USD Phaco machine to Mawlamyine General Hospital for removing cataracts of eye patients. VIPs attending the donation ceremony on 23-8-2016 at the hospital included Mon state chief minister U Min Min Oo and Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Prisanu Suvanajata. The sharing a Brighter Vision in 2015 restores eyesight to 200 cataract patients for free in a mobile program in Mon State. This time a medical team from Thailand’s Banphaeo Hospital will help a similar number of patients at Mawlamyine.
