An ASEAN economic giant SCG said it would make investments for Myanamr economic development at a press conference held 18 July, 2014 at Acacia Coffee in Saya San Road, Yangon “We would invest USD 7 billion in upcoming 4-5 years,”  said  its CEO Mr  Kan Trakulhoon.

At present an integrated cement plant is under construction in  Mawlamyaing  Township with a USD 400 million investment. SCG products currently coming into Myanmar are SCG brand cement, construction materials and porcelain tiles and sanitary wares.
