Co-hosted by SWITCH-Asia Programme and ILO with EU support, round-table talks on sustained development of Asian textiles and garment industries were held on 30-31 March, 2015 at BEST WESTERN Green Hill, No.12 Po Sein Road, Tarmwe Township, Yangon. Attendees included legal scholars, businessmen and civil society members. Garment exports from Myanmar have grown twofold, and more recruitment of 1.5 mln workers is expected. And job training for them is in the works, it is learnt.
