The Popa Art Festival accompanied by a book fair went on under the arrangement if the last leaf Gallery from 28-2-2014 to 2-3-2014 at People’s Square, Yangon. The activities included: sales of aesthetic artworks and souvenis, books of fact and fiction, talks by meteorologist U Tun Lwin and writer Than Myint Aung, and shows of Myanmar cane-ball play and musicians. The festival’s objective was to raise more awareness of conservation and greening in the natural environment, including the Popa Mountain.
