The opening ceremony of Cherry Hills Hotel at No. (520/4A), Kabaraye Pagoda Road, Bahan Township, Yangon, took place on 15th December, 2013. It was formally opened by Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Myint Swe, honoured by Yangon Mayor U Hla Myint, Yangon Region Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Breeding U Soe Myint Shwe, and opening remarks addressed by Mr Oikawa of TaiHei Engineering and U Kyaw Ni Khin.

The five-story hotel, constructed with materials from Japan, has facilities such as Fujinobo Restaurant and Hills Bar from Japan, served by Japan chefs, and gyms and massage parlours. Room rates range from USD 120 to USD 160 for single rooms and USD 130 to USD 170 for doubles.
