SCG, one of the top conglomerates in South-east Asia, held its annual SCG Build with Pride ceremony 12 March, 2014 in Yangon in dedication to its centenary of economic activities in the region. On the occasion its new cement bag, without its ‘elephant’ logo, was introduced, and the new form of brand will join other SCG products later. The two-day event at MCC consisted of Centenary of SCG party and trade talks with guests and representatives from the construction sector. As a top economic leader with a deep consciousness of CSR the SCG is working hard to open a green cement plant at Mawlamyine in 2016, said Country Director Mr Chan Poomee.
