An award presentation ceremony for the Myanmar Car of the year (MOCTY) was held on 9th September at the Yangon Novotel Max under the aegis of the Yangon the Drive magazine. The awards are for various categories, including the 2017 Small Car of the year award, which was won by MAZDA 2. The aim of the awards is to provide people with more information about the cars on Myanmar market, to raise the standard in the job of motoring journalist, to ensure the safety of new left-hand drive cars are suitable to Myanmar’s road system, to lesson impact on natural environment and to improve the people’s standard of living.
