Grand opening of Thilawa Special Economic Zone was held Wednesday, 23 October, 2015. This is the partial opening of this industrial complex built near Yangon, which total area is 2400 hectare and is being developed by Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Ltd. The ceremony was attended by U Nyan Tun, Vice President, Myanmar.
