Yangon, 27 Nov__ The Embassy of Denmark in Myanmar was opened on Thursday in Yangon. The opening ceremony was attended by Union Minister at the president office U Soe Thane, Mr Mogens Jensen, Minister for Tradee and Development Cooperation of Denmark.

The embassy is located at No. 7, Pyithu Lane, Pyay Road, 7^th mile, Mayangon Township, Yangon .

The Union Minister and Mr Mogens Jensen formally opened the embassy.

Also present on the occasion were Mr Peter Lysholt Hansen, Danish Ambassador to Myanmar, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Thant Kyaw, members of UN agencies and political parties.
