Mid-Autumn Festival widely known as Chinese Mooncake Festival, is held at harvest time in China, usually on the full-moon day of the Chinese calendar month. On this occasion, mooncakes are given away to friends, relatives, and loved ones as a token of good wishes for a happy, long life.
