Air Asia’s new Yangon-Penang flight launched with ceremony on 22-3-2016 at Yangon Inter-national Airport, to be addressed by the airline’s Chief Executive Director Aireen Omar and have the aircraft-on-arrival AK 1508 sprinkled with scented water for good omen.

Air Asia now services Yangon-Penang, Yangon-Kuala Lumpur and Yangon-Bangkok flight 45 times a week, with direct onward flights to 39 cities in Asia and Australia.
