Korea-Myanmar Economic Cooperation forum was held on 16-11-2016 at Sedona Hotel, Yangon, which was co-organized by Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Korea International Trade organization (KITA) and UMFCCI. According to KITA’s Asia Department director Seung Wook Kim, reason for holding the event is the deep influence Korean films have long exercised over Myanmar viewership, which will supposedly crate opportunities to expand economic activities of Korean companies. Among the attendees to discuss joint economic cooperation were about 30 Korea business in personal goods field.
