One of the world largest international airlines based in UAE , the Emirates Airline launched the new daily route from Dubai to Yangon, and to Hanoi, Vietnam starting from August 3.

For this new daily flight the airline will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which offers three-class of seats; first class, business class and economy class. There are total 370 seats in the whole aircraft which then compromise into eight seats in first class, 42 seats in business class and 310 seats in economy class.  A limit of one 30 kilogram checked bag will be allowed for economy class, 40kg in business class and 50kg in first class. The ticket price for the flight between Dubai and Myanmar will start from $700.

For Myanmar nationals travelling to the United Arab Emirates, the visa process will be done via the internet due to the absence of a UAE embassy in Myanmar. Passengers can buy the tickets over the internet and the company has partnered with the United Overseas Bank for financial processes.

When flight EK388 arrived at Yangon International Airport, it was greeted by a traditional water cannon salute. Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations Far East Mr. Badr Abbas was on board the inaugural flight with a number of senior executives  of the airline. They were joined by a VIP delegation that include prominent business leaders as well as media from the UAE, GCC and Europe.
