Myanmar International Furniture Expo-2016, jointly held by Myanmar Cane and Bamboo Entrepreneurs Association and Wood-based Furniture Entrepreneurs Association at Tatmadaw Hall, was explained to the press on 26th January 2016 at UMFCCI.

On the occasion Dr Sein Win, chairman of Myanmar Forest Products Federation, said the exposition is intended to have more people appreciative of Myanmar handicrafts whose exports will likely increase. The show saw 36 participating companies with 164 booths, some boasting a variety of bamboo-based furniture. Myanmar International Furniture Expo runs twice a year, in February and September, it is learnt.
