Bangkok Bank (Myanmar Branch) opened on June 2nd at No: 5 Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Yankin Township, Yangon, with opening speech and elaboration by director Mr Piti Sithi-Amnuai. The bank has 1,200 branches in Thailand and 30 more internationally.
Banking services include savings, credit, trade finance, internal and external remittances, and basic services to local banks in relationship with foreign investors. On the occasion queries of media men were responded to by responsible personel.
