After six weeks of competitive indoor football competition, the MFF Futsal Ooredoo Cup 2014 competition came to a dramatic end at the Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium yesterday. 42 teams participated in the inaugural competition, with the final ultimately being contested by Nay Pyi Taw FC and MIC FC.

A good sized crowd enjoyed a thrilling final with both teams displaying skilful, attacking futsal and embracing the great spirit that has characterised the tournament. After a closely contested game, MIC FC claimed victory by 4 goals to 2.

Thiri Kyar Nyo, PR Manager at Ooredoo thanked all of the tournament participants during the prize giving ceremony.

‘It’s great to see the passion, skill and sense of fair play that has been a feature of the tournament. Ooredoo looks forward to hosting the event next year together with MFF”. She added.
