La Mian noodle, which is already well-known is Singapore and other countries, is intended to be introduced to Myanmar, so 800 Bowls was opened. The name 800 Bowls represents selling 800 dishes per day. The restaurant is opened from 8 a.m to 10p.m everyday. Breakfast is available starting from 8am in the morning.

800 Bowls sells Chinese cuisines as main dishes. La Mian noodle, dumplings, Xiao Long Poung and other ordinary curries such as chicken, pork, fish and shriump are also available. La Mian is a Chinese word, which means hand-made noodle. La Mian noodle can be tasted with meat an wontons (Phat-Htoke in Burmese).

What’s special?
The special point is preparing La Mian noodle, only when it is ordered. Making noodle can be observed by customers themseleves. As for dumplings, they are not kept heated all the time. Only when customers order, dumplings are steamed afresh.

Prices
The prices range from 4,500 kyats to 5,000 kyats for a noodle dish. Ordinary meat and fish curries can cost 4,000 kyats to 13,000 kyats. For dumplings, it is 3,000 kyats for a dish.

Future Plan
The restaurant has planned to add more new menus. Later, branches will be opened in Yangon.
